Jennifer Comiteau is a seasoned content creator, strategic thinker, and storyteller who has spent the last 25+ years in the advertising industry. Whether covering it as an Adweek reporter/editor where she served for 17 years or helping elevate brands and marketing campaigns as a corporate communications leader, Jen excels at developing thought-leadership and reputation-building programs for ad agencies and their clients. She founded Comiteau Communications, LLC in 2017 to help brands and advertising agencies better infuse purpose and social good into their ethos.


Lauren Comiteau

Vice President, Content Creation

Lauren Comiteau (Jen’s big sister) is a journalist and columnist who has covered the Netherlands for TIME magazine, CBS Radio, CBC, The Chicago Tribune and others since 1996, when she made the move from New Amsterdam to Old. A former deputy editor of Time Out Amsterdam, Lauren’s journalistic expertise brings a competitive advantage to Comiteau Communications’ clients.

Alexa Abdalla

Managing Director

Alexa Abdalla (Jen’s best hire) is a writer, editor, and social media maven whose passion for curating compelling stories equals her desire to consume them—any given year she is reading 50+ books. A graduate of Syracuse University and the Newhouse School of Public Communications, her own writing has been published in Brooklyn Magazine, Bustle, Catapult, Electric Literature, and InStyle, and she’s helped clients achieve coverage in both local and national publications. Having been mentored by Jen in traditional PR and journalism and raised during the onset of social media, Alexa combines old-school and new-school methods of storytelling to ensure that Comiteau Communications can offer a full suite of creative services.
